Volunteer
The generosity of volunteers allows us to elevate the care of our facility and animals; and implement, create and grow our educational and therapeutic programs.
We welcome individuals and groups who are interested in volunteering weekly/ongoing or one-time!
Please review the guidelines and available opportunities below. We thank you for your patience as we are a small team who wear many “hats”! We will respond to all inquiries as soon as possible.

10am–1pm (Training/Orientation session is held 10a-11a)
We are thrilled to invite you to our 2025 Volunteer Workdays + Trainings, a unique series of events designed to give you the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the community while learning valuable skills in the nature-based and animal-assisted therapy space!
These events are open for individuals and groups—all ages and abilities! A great way for kids and families to get involved without an ongoing commitment or age restrictions!
Volunteers who would like to join us independently on a regular basis in client sessions or doing animal care MUST attend a Training/Orientation session (1x annually), and must be age 14 or over.
By signing up, you contribute to a meaningful cause and gain invaluable experiences and connections. We look forward to seeing you there and working together to create positive change in our community!
Sign-up for one of our Volunteer Workdays + Trainings in the Volunteer Resource Center below!
Please note: You will receive full details for each event the week prior, including specific directions on how to find us, where to park, and what to wear. We provide beverages and snacks. These events have minimum registration numbers that need to be met and are also weather-dependent. By signing up, you will receive updates about the status of each event!
