Junior Explorers

Join us for a week of fun and adventure immersed in nature! Using the backdrop of the great outdoors, campers will engage in a wide variety of activities including: exploring and hiking, kayaking and sand play, yoga with donkeys, mindfulness activities, nature investigations, nature and animal-themed crafts, music and outdoor games, hands-on experiences with our therapy horses, donkeys and goats, reflecting on daily discoveries and much more!
*Please note: our Discovery Trail camps are not horseback riding camps.
We require a minimum number of 6 participants to hold a week of camp. Maximum of 12 spots. Full refunds will be provided if we cancel a week due to low enrollment. *L2 (Level 2) camp is designed for those participants who have joined us for a previous camp or nature-based/EAL program.
Jr.EQ. Immersion Camp for Young Equestrians
{Wed-Fri} Aug 2-4, 2023 • $550 for local residents (trailering in each day) • $750 with room+board for horse and rider included
A three day retreat-style camp for junior riders offering workshops with accomplished instructors, mentors and professionals in the equestrian field. Curriculum and experiences will be designed to help cultivate riders into strong, balanced, intuitive and thoughtful partners for their horses and each other. Lessons will be tailored to the experience level of each individual horse and rider.
Participants must have their own horse {owned or leased} for this camp, and be able to W/T/C with correct leads. Participants must also be able to approach/halter, lead, turnout, feed, muck stalls, groom, tack and mount without assistance. No stallions or unbroke / very green horses permitted – established horse-human partnerships only.
