Equuvation’s Advisory Team

Our young organization is growing, and we would love your help connecting with unique individuals for consideration to join our Advisory Team*.

{*Otherwise known (sometimes) as a “Board of Directors” ...but we do things a little bit differently.}

Ideal Candidates:

  • Love nature and animals;

  • Support access to mental health services and other therapies;

  • Are willing to volunteer in sharing their talents,
    perspectives and experiences;

  • And are seeking an opportunity to uplift, support, expand and strengthen a growing organization’s mission in the field of equine-assisted therapies and education.

Minimum requirements of position:

  • Virtual attendance at 3 meetings per calendar year;

  • Review and response to Quarterly Consent Agenda (sent via email);

  • Advocacy for our organization’s mission and assistance in foraging for resources that contribute to our long-term sustainability;

  • 2 year term limit with option to renew for an additional term.

THE FINE PRINT: Candidates must be 21 years or older; and may not be a relative of a current staff member or board member, or a current client. Candidates do NOT need to live locally to our organization. This is a volunteer position. There is no financial commitment required of Advisory Team members. Advisory Team members will be included in and invited to all of our special events. 

New terms will begin in December 2021.
